More Than Wire and Beads: My Story of Life, Loss, and Love
People always ask me how long I’ve been making jewelry, and honestly, I never really know what to say. I opened my Etsy shop back in...
Rooted in nature, crafted by hand
Hi, I’m Cory Washkevich—the artist behind CW Jewelry Designs From my cozy home studio in Wisconsin, I handcraft each piece with care, drawing deep inspiration from the quiet beauty of the Midwest—its forests, textures, and natural colors.
My jewelry is earthy, whimsical, and refined - often intricate, always heartfelt. I work with a mix of metals like silver, brass, and copper, and I love incorporating unique materials such as wood, leather, stone, glass, crystal, pearls, and Lucite. Many of my designs include repurposed or recycled elements - giving old pieces new life and helping reduce waste in the process.
Sustainability is a core part of what I do. I source thoughtfully, reuse whenever I can, and keep my methods low-impact. Most of my work is unique, and I am always delighted to create custom designs that hold personal significance.
Every piece starts with simple tools, including wire, beads, and a few pliers. And it is shaped slowly by hand. No machines, no mass production - just time, care, and a deep love for creating jewelry that feels special to wear.
I’m so glad you’re here. As a mostly self-taught artist, nothing makes me happier than knowing something I’ve made brings joy to someone else. Whether it’s a tree of life, a piece that shows allyship, or one of my tiny dancers, I hope you find something that speaks to your spirit.
